Our cycling and walking routes

  1. Bradford Leeds Cycle Superhighway

    In partnership with Leeds City Council and City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, we’ve completed work on our award-winning Bradford Leeds Cycle Superhighway, which connects two of Yorkshire’s major cities with a route segregated from traffic.

  2. Bradford Canal Road Cycleway

    Providing a missing link in cycling infrastructure between Shipley and Bradford, our 2.3km route runs along Hillam Road, Bolton Lane and Valley Road, ending at Lower Kirkgate, near Bradford Forster Square.

  3. Canal towpath improvements

    Our canal towpath upgrades provide missing links in local cycling and walking infrastructure, as well as opening up access to some of the region’s best countryside, including the Yorkshire Dales.

  4. Scarborough Bridge, York

    Our new Scarborough Bridge in York has helped boost access not only for people travelling by bike or on foot between the train and the city centre but also, importantly, those with mobility issues.

    Traffic-free routes, such as the Castleford Greenway, not only connect us with the places we need to go, they are often a focal point for the community, providing welcoming places for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy walking and cycling.
