Heading to Halifax for the final stage of the Tour de Yorkshire on Sunday (5 May)?

Visit the West Yorkshire Combined Authority’s CityConnect team near the town’s market on Southgate, from 9am, for information and advice on how you can keep pedalling after the race.

Why not travel into town by bike? With thanks to CityConnect, Calderdale Council is offering a free safe and secure bike parking service on Russell Street, 9am - 3pm. Bikes are checked in and out, complete with a tag system, and stored by authorised staff.

Throughout the day, Calderdale Council is running a series of mini guided rides on a 1km closed road circuit in Halifax town centre. Book a space.

There will also be a cycle track for under 5s at Westgate Arcade, 9.30am-3pm, on a drop in basis.

Bikes and helmets are available for both activities.

Find out more information on the Visit Calderdale website.
