Bike Friendly Business Networking Breakfast

The CityConnect Cycle Superhighway is almost ready, and we are now looking at ways to support organisations to make sure the new route is used.

Our 'Bike Friendly Business' accreditation scheme is one of those ways, and organisations based on or near to the CityConnect Cycle Superhighway, or the recently upgraded Aire Valley canal towpath are invited along to a networking breakfast at our offices in central Leeds on Wednesday May 18th from 8.30am until 10.00am to find out more and see how you can get involved.9393-CityConnect_infographic_1.5_outline-06

Find out how our Bike Friendly Business Accreditation Scheme can help you:• Receive a guide to good facilities for cyclists• Get a comprehensive appraisal of your existing cycling facilities• Be provided with customised feedback for your organisation - you may already be at the required standard; if not, we’ll detail a list of achievable goals helping you work towards becoming a Bike Friendly Business• Be able to apply for a small grant, offered to help you create that perfect environment to encourage staff and visitors to cycle to your organisation• Be recognised for your efforts in promoting travel by bike through our accreditation scheme

It would be great to have you along and if you’d like to attend please contact Gavin Wood on 0113 3481754 or gavin.wood@westyorks-ca.gov.uk Monday 16th May.

If you’re unable to attend but would still like to participate in the scheme then please let Gavin know and he will arrange to come and see you.
